The Sunday 15 November 2015 XT801 from MEL to DPS was timetabled to depart at 1110 but has not long left at 0501 on Monday 16 November.

With only two aircraft, this AirAsia offshoot has been adversely affected by the continuing volcanic eruptions that have played havoc with flight schedules.

However at least it is still trying to operate a service, whereas on a number of days JQ and VA have not.

Friday 11 December 2015's XT822 (operated by A330 PR-XRC) took off from DPS at 0226, a slow 86 minutes after its timetabled pushback time of 0100, so SYD arrival is forecast as 1134 instead of 1030. While Sydney Airport does not show the returning flight to DPS today, XT823 as late yet, it is likely to be at least marginally delayed as a 56 minute turnaround to meet the stipulated 1230 departure time is unlikely.

On Thursday 31 March XT802, the 0925 hours arrival in MEL ex DPS and the returning morning departure at 1040 from MEL back to the Bali airport at DPS, XT803 have been cancelled. There is a strike of Border Force officers this morning so that is two fewer flights for the managers or reduced number of immigration staff to concern themselves with.

The Friday 8 April SYD arrival of XT822 ex DPS has been delayed from 0930 to an expected 1045. As the returning XT823 is timetabled to push back at 1045, that is likely to become roughly 1150.

The Saturday 21 May 2016 arrival of XT802 (0010 hours DPS - MEL, A333 PK-XRA) should occur about an hour late at 0925 as it was not airborne this morning until 0142 hours. XT803 back to DPS should depart from MEL at approximately 1030 in lieu of its timetabled 0940 hours.

With the continuing, extensive wet weather in and around SYD and the Australian lower east coast generally, XT823 on Sunday 5 June as at 1301 was about third in the queue for an easterly Runway 07 SYD departure for DPS, with this scheduled 1045 hours departure likely to arrive Bali about two hours late. Aircraft is A333 PK-XRC.

Indonesia AirAsia X is in teh final two weeks of opearting MEL and SYD to DPS and return flights but that is no bar to unpunctuality.

On Saturday 20 August, A333 PK-XRA departed MEL at 0940 with takeoff at 1023; arrival is expected at about 1446 this afternoon, 36 minutes late.

Tuesday 1 November 2016 sees QZ544, teh 1355 hours from DPS down to PER (A320 PK-AZE) badly late with takeoff having occurred at 1832. Projected arrival is 2148 instead of 1725, or in minutes, 263 late. Not good!

Tuesday 20 June 2017 has the 1400 hours DPS - PER that was airborne at 1535 hours, QZ544 (A320 PK- AZE) likely to arrive at 1851, 56 minutes late.

On Wednesday 9 August 2023, QZ536, the 1550 hours afternoon from DPS down to PER (A320 PK-AXE) took off exactly an hour later. Arrival at gate should be about 2-14, 44 behind.
