Any ideas? The URL loads the image on a new browser window without issue.

A few days ago jetitup.com had issues where their website certificate has expired. Is this a caching issue with this forum perhaps?

It could be to do with their certificate. As the site runs 100% SSL now, all images tend to be proxied and we also use a CDN, which could result in a caching issue. I'll have to monitor this, but have you tried inserting any other image from somewhere else on the web, and seeing if that loads? If it does, the problem is most likely with "jetitup".

This is the URL in my signature - https://www.jetitup.com/MyStats/Banner/?name=daver6&lang=en as in image. When editing the signature it shows up.

As it does in the post. Its specific to my signature. jetitup have resolved the expired certificate issue.

Im happy to sit on it for a bit longer, but have noticed this issue for the last few days after jetitup sorted out their expired certificate.

Ok, interesting result. During the edit phase of the post, the image is there (see screen grab below). As you can see in the above post, after posting the image is not.

The image you are linking to isn't actually an image... it doesn't end it ".png" or ".jpg". Yes, it eventually presents as an image, and yes, it has worked in the past, but I can't explain why it is no longer working for you.

I did ask you in my first reply if any other image on the web inserted into your signature resulted in the same problem. You didn't get back to me. So I have just found a random "jet it up" image from google image search, and it works fine.

I can't tell you the reason there is a problem with this image loading now, but other images seem to be loading fine, so the fact the image link you are using isn't actually an image but something that dynamically changes may have something to do with it.
