I'm not sure this idea is going to fly here :)

Hard to see this one having wings in this forum.
I read online that with reference to the awarding of the Nobel Peace Prize was that Greta was advocating that airplanes contributed hugely to climate change and for that reason amongst others was why the jet setters who awarded the prize would not award it to Greta. But given the way the world is turning these days maybe flying really is a target now.

Christopher Elliott also hates frequent flyer programmes. Google him and look at his 'rationale'.

Trying to access your favourite Australian websites when overseas only to discover they have been geo-blocked? Concerned about your internet privacy especially when using unsecured wifi? NordVPN will solve both these common problems.

Google "Global Dimming". The world is getting dimmer - in some areas 22% dimmer than in 1950. This is what is counteracting global warming. Google "Global Dimming 9/11". Following up on a theory, it was shown that in the 3 days of no flights over the USA following 9/11, the effect of not having contrails reduced global dimming by 1%. In other words, flying is part of the solution to global warming - the condensation trails reflect sunlight back into space. The reason the dire predictions of "An inconvenient truth" haven't occurred is that global dimming has counteracted the effects of global warming. So we should be flying more.

Although, with the cleanup of smog (and removal of aerosols), we're back to global brightening

The amount of smog needed to counteract warming would probably kill most of us!

Oh dear another divisive subject.I have just 3 observations.
1.Aviation is fiighting back.

2.I did read that the IT industry with their huge electricity and building needs is equivalent to the emissions of the Aviation industry. Can't find it tonight but possibly is why Google is being attacked.

3.I have no problems eating steak. The methane argument is a furphy and comes about because only 1end of the cow is looked at.If you look at the front end the Methane comes because they eat grass. That is where the carbon comes from. Now the grass doesn't stop growing because it was eaten. It is actually stimulates growth leading to CO2 being taken in from the air and O2 being released. The beast is actually in carbon equilibrium. In fact it stimulates one of the few carbon sinks we have.

I agree, the more we deter FFers the more flights will be cancelled. This will reduce those nasty chemtrails.

Google 'icehouse effect' and be amazed. In the '70s the icehouse effect was all the go, according to scientists.
