SYD First Lounge from ~8:45am-10:15am.

May have a guest. Actually may try to have a guest. They are not on the same flight but rather a JQ flight! What are the chances?

You may be OK as the door gentleman (prior to the escalators) usually just wants to see your WP card, where as Melbourne you have no choice but to see the ladies at the desk who will ask for a ticket.

If you are quick you can just by pass the desk, usually they just ask what flight you are on

Didn't eventuate as SYD airport was shocking this morning and the AFFer needing guesting was delayed through security. I was also delayed having only ~15 minutes in F lounge which was enough time for eggs benedict and 2 champagnes.

Am currently in the MEL F lounge. QF153 to AKL is delayed. Gee shucks how will I cope? Another Diet Coke will be gratefully consumed.

Had a lovely spa treatment, the facial is a delightful way to start travelling.

Might be an ignorant question, but I can't find the answer in the forum so far...


We're (Partner WP, myself and our friend Silver) travelling to DPS with JQ in July. We're hoping to access the Flounge in Sydney but obviously only two of us can get in thanks to WP partner. Is there a 'future lounge guesting' thread that anyone knows of? If not we're hoping to *acquire* a Flounge pass but would prefer to know someone would help us out
