I am in MEL J lounge until QF691 boards a bit after 1600.
A very brief visit to catch up with family. I will wave as I fly over your place.@JessicaTam so you are heading to my neck of the woods. In the time before covid that was one of my Thursday regular commuting flights.
At least we now know you are able to use the J lounge if flying JQ with QFF status.I’m in BNE J lounge for the next 45 min, flying JQ569.

Thanks for the intel. I will be in SYD in over an hour and hopefully it empties a bit.Just spoke to the lovely lounge agent at SYD regarding re-opening of spaces. Does not seem like J and QP will be separated imminently although that is contingent on what happens with border openings to WA & QLD (at least in SYD). They are looking at instead transitioning the lounge to the QP and offer the J food/drink down there for the larger space.
J lounge relatively busy now with limited spare seats.
P.S. the CL lounge door opened as I walked past...if only could sneak in there
Does this mean that QF lounge is back to its glorious self and not sharing with J any more?
