agree the offers themselves are not really that great.. for me anyway.

I'd also like to know where they get $56 (USD) spend on F&B as a target value....

It's pretty poor to launch a sub website like this and not have their technical stuff sorted like this - specially now some days later. A major gaffe IMHO and normally IHG have been pretty slick in this dept.

(this is part of my regular day job so I do know something of DNS issues, but it shouldn't be THAT hard!)

Pretty coughpy for me:
- 10k to join IHG Dining Rewards. Probably the most intriguing. I'm IHG Gold. Is it worth Plat, free night and 25% discount? Does it matter if I sign up before end of Dec or wait until Jan? (Noting the promo technically doesn't start until 01 Jan).

I received this offer as well. I am Gold Elite through purchased Ambassador membership. If I join IHG Dining Rewards, I will become platinum after spending only 2 paid nights in the chain this year due to a new job changing my destinations. I think Ill only have 2 or 3 confirmed nights at an IHG hotel in the next year - Crowne Changi.

Yeah - I was quoting from memory ... my task is quite achievable earning 56K for a cost of around $1k ... and I'd be Platinum with the dining rewards being one of the tasks ... (Currently Gold via Velocity).

TBH, to me ICH status is comparatively underwhelming (I did have 30 months of Platinum) - Royal Ambassador is where it's at but I don't like indeterminate qualification levels. I am unlikely to ever go there.

So this promotion does not interest me (FWIW, the one late this year saw me inspired to book an additional 0 IHG stays).

Not sure what you mean by indeterminate qual levels, they are now clearly defined, 60 nights, 20 of which must be at ICs and at least three different ICs.

There was a time not very long ago when they were not clearly defined - anyhoo five hotel nights a month is about two more than I could sanely consider. So it ain't happening ...

I was sent another email today reminding me to register! This time the link worked, so I'm now registered. +1 checked in this morning to ICSC so hopefully it'll recognise that stay. Also received another register link for 3000 bonus points as part of an Amb promo. Registered for that as well!

The link worked for me today also. Not much there that I will pursue as each one of these promos seem to get harder to achieve for me. My offer is;

Earn 61,700 total bonus points

16,800 points for staying 22 nights,
4,000 points for downloading the app, signing in and booking 10 stays,
5,700 points for spending $1050 on food or beverage,
7,200 points for 1 stay at a Holiday Inn Resort,
2,000 points for 1 stay booked at the Business Succes special rate,
1,000 points for redeeming reward points,
10,000 points for joining IHG Dining Rewards club,
15,000 Bonus points for completing 6/7 offers.

It is all getting a bit silly now when I can buy points during their regular promos if I felt so inclined for less than the cost of achieving them here.
