My Accelerate list of 'achieved' shows a positive result for a 'comp' night on AMB BOGO voucher.

'The Saturday Night' was the second night using the voucher. My Accelerate account shows a '50%' complete for the required two Sat. nights for 9,600 points.

Interesting; my BOGO seems to only be accepted for one of the two nights. It's showing 80% complete despite having stayed 9 out of ten nights.

I'll see what happens when the tenth night posts before chasing it.

I stand to do pretty well out of Accelerate, this time around... with a cheap 'stay' at HIX KLCC getting me over the line (though I checked in and out without ever using the room - I was up the road in a suite at the KL Shangri-La!).

I spent a week in Sep/Oct at IC The Willard Washington DC for a relative's nearby wedding, during which I had booked a mix of Corporate Rates, AMB Weekend & Reward Nights. That group of stays along with a bunch of bonuses on and off Accelerate netted me 72,940 points... and re-qualified me for IHG Platinum Elite for another year. I then got another 5,000 points for renewing my IC Ambassador membership (which was already done earlier in the year, so it auto-completed). The HIX KLCC stay was a Corporate Rate booking that cost just AUD $72, and put me over the line for my Accelerate offer's acheivement bonus, plus, I also got a bonus for booking that stay through the IHG app. For the extra AUD $72 I will net another 22,215 points (equivalent to buying at 0.003c each).

All up it was close to 100,000 points earned for 5 revenue nights at IC, and 1 at HIX.

Cheers,
Matt.

Having recently joined IHG, my offers were substantially less than all of you! That said, I do have some questions, being new to the game.

To start with, for the "Eat, Drink and Earn" offer, is this a coughulative offer over the period of the promotion (so $50 + $30 + $20 at 3 properties would work) or does it have to be all in one stay? Do I have to stay at a property to earn points or can I quote my membership number when dining but not staying? I recently completed a stay at a Holiday Inn where I charged breakfast to my room and paid upon checkout (it wasn't included in the rate) but the points that posted to my account were only for the room charge... if I submit a missing points claim will this be included?

Cheers.

It is coughulative. Worth noting that to IHG $ means USD. This applies to spend for promos and earn for points, so often get fewer than you would 'expect'

Have completed Accelerate and all bonus points posted. Now 750,000+ IHG points.

Now that my 10th night has posted, 80% has jumped to 100%.

So as others have been able to confirm, both nights from my BOGO have counted towards the accelerate offers. Another 29,000 points on top of 12,500 previously received from this offer.

I would view that as 150000 AAdvantage miles - far more useful to me ... :D
True. Is that almost 2 returns to Europe with very low taxes?

I don't see the value in hotel points but they are very easy to collect without too much expense. Try to get to 1 million+ IHG points and then try to use them for first round the world trip with the wife. The points should provide a little more value in North America and Europe?

My Accelerate offer has 32900 bonus points on offer - I've met all 3 requirements - stay 5 nights/stay once/eat drink earn - the last being Monday last week.
How quickly do the bonus points post after completing all the Accelerate offers?

Howdy - for my final qualifying stay I checked out on 13th Nov... points for that one posted 16th Nov... and then the Accelerate achievement bonus posted on the 23rd Nov; so 7 days after the final stay [posted]. The T&Cs say up to 3 weeks for it to happen though.

Cheers,
Matt.

Alas, I failed to get any stays done (had one on 19th Dec, so outside the offer date). Such is life...
