Good luck getting any seats anywhere other than cattle with QF!

only ever done F with BA SYD-LHR via Singkers on what seemed like an original 747.

quite frankly after drinking your body weight in French in the QF SYD F lounge I barely noticed much at all.

the SYD F lounge is light years ahead of the MEL one even if you have to do a positioning sector.

I wouldn't say Sydney F lounge is far superior to Melbourne. Very similar in my experience. Better views and wine in Sydney -- but much quieter, more space and more personal service in Melbourne. I've been lucky with spa treatments to never miss out but the limited times in Melbourne are an issue (though if open more likely to get slotted in).

Hi all,

Does anyone know what is happening with EK F awards close up out of both SIN and KUL back to MEL lately. Early September I am coming home from SIN and happy to go via KUL to get EK F space.

I have been monitoring the close up availability and there were always last minute seats available but the last 10 days or so absolutely nothing is showing up. Is July just fully booked or they have changed their release policy?

Interestingly I have been looking at last minute EK F awards to JFK and CDG and they have still been showing up perfectly fine - want to take that route next year.

Thanks,
Dale.
