Had this bad boy on my PER-DRW flight last week - pretty damn good if you ask me! The others in my row all seemed to agree!
Partners dinner last night was cold chicken salad. Sigh. Any chance of something hot for dinner?
Most likely left over lunch !!![]()

I thought the same thing! When you get a thread saying that a chicken pie was a nice lunch, it says something about the general quality of food around!Says something about level of dissatisfaction when a thread is started saying food was good: the whole point being that good food should be unremarkable, and poor food the unusual occurrence.
There are sensational pies around. However, the pies I have had on domestic economy would not be out of place in the pie warmer at the corner shop. Not sure what Markis10 got that made it special!I have to say, a pie ( regardless of filling) is, if done properly a really nice meal, wether on a plane or not.

Which, I think brings us back to the point of the state of catering at QF, if a hot lunch is special!!A hot lunch was special in itself, the fact it was tasty, relatively nutritious and perfectly cooked was a big bonus, especially as I was served halfway through the service.
