Hyatt offering status matches via Twitter

From what I was told on the phone by a Hyatt rep, they stopped matching Hilton at 10am central time yesterday and hilton applications before then would be accepted... Certainly hope so..

What time was that in Australian time? I sent mine in Sat 10am Australian time which in thinking is about 4pm Friday central?

I sent mine on Sat at 0830 AEDST.
Haven't heard back yet

Actually the auto-reply I have has the email receipt as 11/20/15 at 1135 AM PST
So I think we should both be ok

Got matched to Hyatt Diamond using IHG platinum (came with Intercon Ambassador). Suite upgrades here I come

I got a Twitter message reply very early Saturday morning AEST saying they'd match my HH Diamond to Platinum.

Hyatt Plat is utterly useless, so if that's all they can do I certainly won't be putting any stays their way.

The message said to send the email (which I'd already done hours earlier 11/20/15 01:49:40 AM PST) so waiting to hear back.

Unfortunately I accidentally deleted the Twitter conversation so don't have that as proof. Not worried though – it's kind of their loss. I'm fairly happy with my HH Diamond benefits to be honest. It's all about those breakfasts

I have a stay coming up on Osaka next year where the Hilton can be had from ¥52,500 or 153,919 HHonors.

So booked the Hyatt regency for 8000 GP points. It's a three night stay and was considering bumping it to 12000 points per night for executive access. Now no need.

FWIW, Noon Central Standard time (10am PST) Friday was 5am Melbourne Saturday Morning (Syd/MEL/CBR are UTC +11 and DFW is -6).

I sent a DM via Twitter and email as well on Fri evening asking for Hyatt Diamond match based on my Hiton Diamond. ..got a DM this am, stating they had matched me to Hyatt Platinum... then 7 minutes later, got another DM, asking for a screen shot of a competitor's account to be emailed to them and allow them 48 hours to respond. ..

Just sent DM via Twitter with my SPG Plat card attached and received immediate response offering Diamond status after I email proof of one stay with SPG to goldpassport.

This definitely will have been worth their while (for me anyway).

Finally heard back from Hyatt, first submitted the match on Friday night (and was rather persistent..) and match to Diamond from HH Gold just came through with the 4 suite upgrades. I think I just about jumped for joy as I've been waiting to stay in some Hyatt's lately.
