anyone has a screenshot of the old T&C? We signed up under the old rules so they still is obliged to post the points within 2 months

No screen shot. But you don't need this.

What I posted above was directly from their website when I signed up and what I included in my letter of complaint as detailed in previous messages. They'll know of the problem instantly.

Wrote a letter of complaint just before Christmas. Earlier today received a generic email response - thanks for contacting us and we will be in touch. Will see what happens now.

Sounds like the response I got the first time.

60,000 points were posted today less than 2 months of qualifying spend... was hoping they miss the deadline so i could serve a breach notice to get my annual fee refunded.....

Better luck next time :)

$199 for 60,000 points isn't so bad.

Just remember to cancel immediately.

Just signed my 'Dr Ralph letter'. It will be posted first thing tomorrow. Thanks for the advice.

Just checked my CC page and HSBC has noted the 60,000 point to be transferred to my QF account next sweep, even though I already had the no-fee HSBC CC for 18 months. Made the min spend in the first month.

Interesting - just checked my HSBC CC online and the 2 months since meeting the spend requirement was 2nd January but the online account shows 0 Qantas points - the 60,000 pints are awol!.....time for a stroppy call I think....

My qualifying spend was reached 28/10. I called to ensure everything was in order and was told by the CSR that Ts and Cs state "60 to 90 days" and refused to budge, despite me reading back to her what the website says. Off to write a letter!

Definitely the letter is the go. It's what I have recommended continuously. Phone call will be a waste of time as you'll just get a standard response.

Be sure to make reference to the call you made and the misinformation provided.

Spent my $199 annual fee refund whilst recently in Bankgok. Paid my account balance today and have sent a letter cancelling the account.

Received a reply today telling me that my account was now closed.

My online access to HSBC has also been deleted - strange how some do this but others don't. NAB for example keep your access open.

NAB also keep emailing me telling me latest credit card statement is available for an account that has been closed since May last year!!

Have just sent an email using your letter as a template, much appreciated!

I received a further response today from HSBC. They will waive the annual fee and give me an additional 5,000 QF points for failing to provide the bonus points in the required time. Happy with that outcome :)

Well done!

Better than me. I got the refund of annual fee only.

Seems like they haven't learned their lesson since Ralph had his issue.

Given in 1 week I hit the 2 month period, I'm hoping someone's asleep as the helm still!
