Dear Friends

I am currently planning a 5-week trip next year in June, and will most likely be based in Sydney or Melbourne.

My current FF inventory points are as follows:

Qantas FF: 222,000 [30SCs from next loyalty bonus]
SQ Krisflyer: 58,000
Qatar Airways: 15,000
Amex MR Points: 93,000

I would like to keep my Qantas FF points for a oneworld trip in J if possible, but will only be able to do so if I can somehow convince my family to give me a transfer or get some other bonus offer (my most recent application for a Citibank Platinum was declined).
I am likely to get another ~10,000 points with Amex by the end of this year.

Several of my friends and I have booked for a Seattle-Alaska cruise (of one week in duration) in June 2010 so I must visit the States. I must also go to Shanghai at some point in my itinenary to visit my relatives. My friends want to go to Vietnam on the same trip. I want to go to the UK on this trip too. However I will not have the time to do both.

If I am to keep my Qantas points for a oneworld J what is the best use of my remaining points? Please note that I would prefer to travel in J if possible and with most efficient use of points.

I also have an Amex Platinum card that of course allows me to take one free return trip. I may well do well to use it in this itinenary because I am unlikely to have any additional time to travel long-distance domestically in 2012.

Your feedback on points-cobbling an itinenary would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
