How to add a description to a URL in your posts?

Hi there - quick question for the experts out there...

How do you add a description linked to a URL in a post?

As an example - instead of > More information available from http:///reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeallylongurl.domainname.com.au

Something like > More information available HERE

... where by clicking on HERE you are redirected to the sample URL as above?

Copy the URL you want to use

Write the text out in the AFF post as usual.

Highlight the text that you want to turn into hypertext

Click the hyperlink button on the toolbar (earth with a chain thing)

Paste the URL into the space provided

Hit OK

Should turn out like this

(If its an AFF link, it includes the thread title in the link. For other URLs, it doesn't, for example, this from Air Canada. )

You don't have to be very clever as I can do it :!:

If you are using an App you can still do it manually.

The format is:

[noparse]<Label to display>[/noparse]

This will show as <Label to display>.
