Can't see NLK in that list, which would be an extra one for me to have been to... Also MAN when QF flew there, also have been into FCO and AMS on QF, do they count?

QF don't fly to NLK...? (do they)

I think to make it easy to compare, current destinations should be it... Otherwise everyone could come up with just about anything...

Yes, they do.

QF 393 0 01MAR06 BNE 0730 NLK 1105 734 Y9 B9 H9 K9 M9 R0 L9 V9 S9 N9 Q9 O9 G0 T0 X0 E0

Sure, it is a code-share, but QF (and NZ) were the only carriers with traffic rights on this sector, and since ON (Air Nauru) do not offer this flight under their own code - namely ALL seats have to be sold under the QF flight number - then I am counting it as a QF flight. Particularly since QF operate all of the Air Nauru flights anyway (since ON had their aircraft repossessed).

34 from 78

Always interesting going through the codes and seeing how many you can name...

WOW 7 destinations!.... Possibly also CHC to that list, but I was young and can't remember which airline I flew. Also the flight to BKK was only a stop, not the destination.

I think I'm one of the lowest so far.

28 for me (but there are 2 suss ones - can't recall if it was Ansett or Qantas!)

That's 16 out of 40 for me, although I've also been to the following places on QF:
OOM - Cooma, NSW
NAN - Nadi, Fiji

Dave I will pay that... A great response... While technically a codeshare (flight number in the 300's) as there is no other airline operating the flight why not!

As mentioned earlier, I as listing flights from the QF website's route map that show as being QF flights... :D

But can we inlcude QF destinations to which we flew on non-QF airlines? For example, the only time I have been through Darwin was on a BOAC VC-10 (now I am showing my age).

And I have been to Weipa several times, but back when it was only serviced by AN.

My visit to Kalgoorli was on Australian Airlines before the merger with QF so does that count?

How about ex-QF destinations? I flew through SFO on QF back in the early 90's.

How about ex-QF destinations when using another airline? I flew through CDG with BA, but QF used to service CDG themselves. Got to draw the line somewhere 8) .

How about including all destinations ever served by QF, all destinations ever served of previous airlines taken over, all destinations ever served by local defunct competitors, all destinations ever served by partner and alliance airlines (including previous airlines they have taken over, all their local defunct competitors and all their partners)?

If you then throw in airports not served by overflown (within a few hundred miles) I think you should get most places covered.

And those airports identified as in-flight alternates ....
And those airports where aircraft similar to QF's fleet have been used ....

and similar name
and at least one letter in common in the 3-letter airport code

I think that makes ever airport valid.

I'm still young - I have plenty of flying left in me :)

21 of 78 (27%) - Lots more flying to do, plenty of time for that!

Quite a few over the years! Brings back some memories doing this.
What about POM? These days PX, but I'm sure a QF destination at one time.
