How long for VA credits / points to appear after flight

I have flights from 7/11 not appearing, points would post 3-4 days earlier this year

i guess #earnbassadors program took budget away from backend systems as well lol
 
VFF advise today that ‘there are very many frequent flyers who have not had points credited for flights taken in the first two weeks of November.’ When asked if this issue had been corrected for future flights the agent did not know. When asked when the missing points would credit the agent did not know. The agent was however willing to address any individual points claims. Not the easiest way to make profits!

Somethings not quite right at the moment! Still waiting 3/11 and 6/11.

Agreed - VA system fails yet again.... after seeing this thread pop back up again I’ve checked and I’m missing flights from 2-3 weeks ago. Sigh.

Meanwhile QF are literally posting DURING my flight.

How hard can it be VA?

I was also told this today and had my points and status credits manually added by the agent. The missing points claim function on website would not accept my info!
 
Similar situation to everyone else I flew early November plus family members and no points or SC at all. I have phoned Virgin velocity and they will put in a claim for me so still waiting. I was told by them that they have an issue and are trying to rectify the problem. They need to talk to there partners such as BP, Credit card alliances etc to ask how they are able to post points almost the next day. This happens almost every year at different times and is becoming an annual Virgin event.
 
+1 whoever mentioned. If you're on VA metal, recommend claiming missing points after a few days if it hasn't shown.

Same error here. Called and the agent posted the points from 4/11 immediately. Of course I got the line 'just so you know, you can submit for these online'. Sorry, no I can't, your website is cough :p

Surely VA are not manually processing points for all passengers for 2 weeks of flights! Or are they?

I am Plat for past 5 years as is wife

I have flown 5 time Syd - MLB since Nov 1. Only 1 leg of SC and points have made it to my account.

I fly weekly and usually upgrade the leg home using points.

Velocity can manage to take my points almost immediately for the upgrade, while I have to wait for the sc and points for usually a week

Drives me crazy trying to manage and review the points and SC going in and out. Asked numerous times why - no factual response

I called yesterday to discuss missing points and sc. Long wait, frustrated staff at call centre. A few years ago the staff at the call centre would bend over backwards to help, were always friendly, last 6 months massive attitude - something is going down.
 
None of my November flights have posted despite making claims on the fights from the first week online.
 
Missing three Nov flights myself. Tried to claim oldest (after 2wks) and system said it had already been processed.

Must be going to ‘Junk Folder’.....
 
I assume they have had some sort of IT meltdown as the software appears to have come to a halt.

Question is whether they are able to backtrack and reallocate the points. Not sure how serious the damage is.
 
Over two weeks for me now waiting for MEL-PER-MEL points to appear. Points to upgrade a flight last week were deducted the same day.....

I got the same message when I tried to claim. I don’t suppose there’s much point in ringing Velocity.

Not sure why a website error means there is no point in calling? If you ring Velocity they can post your points. It's a shame that it comes to that, but it seems to be....
 
I flew SQ on the 15th of October and still haven;t received Status Credits. Got the points after a retro claim but Virgin claim there is an ongoing system error that is preventing flyers receiving some status credits. Anybody else having a similar issue?
