A Lan flight didn't credit to my account after flying.

Emailed Qantas with all the pertinent information, and they requested I email/fax/post them the boarding pass and ticket.

This was faxed to them over a week ago.

How long does it normally take for these claims to be processed for a partner airline?

I'd call again and check it out.

friend of mine flew first class with LAN recently and had a similar experience. she did what you have done with QF etc. hers took about 3 weeks to come across. no challenges, it was just a time thing.

Mal, you know my Finnair experience! I faxed QF the boarding passes and e-ticket last Thursday afternoon and by Tuesday (3 working days) it was all processed.

Like serfty I would recommend to follow it up.

Partner crediting of missing miles can take anything from a few days to a few weeks. Some partners only look at these things once a week or fortnight, so if you just missed then it is a bit of a wait. Also some partners require the FFP to mail the documentation to their head office which naturally adds time. Unless you are in urgent need of the SCs or points I'd wait a bit longer before chasing up.

The missing points have posted.

So yes, partner claims can take a bit more than a week to process!
