Just called Qantas, he has sent request off to ‘ticketing’ saying it should be done within 24 hours. Now the wait begins.

I did a MH J redemption via QFF last month. Did that in the afternoon, ticketed the next morning. FYI also, you won't be able to select seats via QFF and will have to call MH. The call centre will tell you that they couldn't change the seats as redemption wasn't done via MH.
