How long does it take MH to ticket? [Qantas Award]

Hi all,
first time I have booked MH J tickets using QF points. I have my QF booking numbers, but no e-tickets yet. (booked Saturday) Does anyone know the usual wait time for tickets to be issued?

How soon is this travel? Having travel on a Partner Airline it may take some manual input by Qantas reservations.
 
MH will generally cancel 13 days after the seats were grabbed so you will want to chase it until ticketed, particularly the closer it gets to that time. Ticketing can be as immediate as QF likes - there is no such thing as waiting around for the other carrier to 'confirm' anything at all.
 
It’s an award ticket - so flight is not until Sept 2018. I am just used to getting the tickets straight away.

As per my previous post, they will still cancel it in 13 days generally.
 
Just called Qantas, he has sent request off to ‘ticketing’ saying it should be done within 24 hours. Now the wait begins.
 
Interesting this requires manual intervention. o_O

Like the OP I too am used to getting a ticket 'on the spot'.

Normally when I need to get something sent off for manual processing, it's done while I wait on the line.

If it hasn't been issued by tomorrow, definitely call back again.

I did a MH J redemption via QFF last month. Did that in the afternoon, ticketed the next morning. FYI also, you won't be able to select seats via QFF and will have to call MH. The call centre will tell you that they couldn't change the seats as redemption wasn't done via MH. Insist on it and mention that this is per QFF advice on your booking.

Does seat selection not work on MH's site if you put the QF PNR in? The 2 PNRs are identical.
 
1. I was able to select "window" when I went into the booking to select seats. when the page rolled over, I was automatically issued with 2K. (this I will attempt to change later)
2. received email this morning - this is part of it

3. checked my Amex card, and agree my card not hit, so then had to make the payment. This is a lot more running around than a usual Award ticket.
 
Tickets have arrived, (though not as pdf attachment) first one at 6:15pm and the other at 6:54pm tonight. Nice birthday present, knowing I can put it to bed now. (well, until I call to change the seats.)
