How long do BA, Finnair and Other oneworld flights take to credit to Qantas?

During an older trip, the 2nd time I used QR on a DONEx IIRC, I had problems getting one flight to post.
On each of my trips where I have used QR, it's always been 2 connecting flights. US - EU (or other way around) via DOH. For the trip in question, one flight posted, the other didn't.
I went through the normal process of claiming the missing flight. They rejected the online form and had to send a copy of the boarding pass, which they rejected. I don't recall the reason they gave for not accepting the boarding pass as proof of having been on that flight, but they did have flights in the system that flew into DOH and another that flew out of the EU port, so I was somewhat confused how they could see flights that matched up with having used the flight that was missing. (eg, how could they accept a flight that flew into DOH and another that flew out of CDG, but not accept the flight that flew DOH-CDG)

Ended up having to get a letter from QR stating that I was indeed on the flight in question. Took a couple of months of back and forth with QFF then having to locate contact details for the right part of QR to talk to, explain the issue to them and finally send the letter to QFF before the flight posted.

I had to do a claim for a BA flight last month that didn’t credit properly, not too surprising because the flight I’d booked was cancelled and I was moved to a slightly earlier flight.

But what’s odd is that the claim tracking page says it’s been processed and points added etc, but it’s still not appearing in my activity list at all…

I guess I try to claim again?!

Last week Mrs SS and I both had an AY flight credit in 3 days. Her outgoing flight taken a month earlier had taken 28 days to credit.

Qantas kept insisting there was no record of my flight on BA as reggistered QF Flyer even after sending multiple copies of my boarding pass. My Partener got hers straight away. Qantas grudgingly gave me the points after I sent them a copy of my partners boading Pass. I think BA was the culprit. BA is not noted for its care with recording appropriate details.

I'm trying to confirm when QF DSCs are credited. I *believe* it is at 10pm SYD time on the second day after travel. For example a flight I took on Friday of last week showed up after 10pm on Sunday night. I'm expecting DSCs to land from a flight I took on Sunday at 10pm tonight (Tuesday). Can anyone provide any insight or is it more random than this? @Mattg did you come across this in the research for your article?
