Took 3 AY flights a week ago but none have posted yet. Booked direct on Finnair website. Time to put in a claim?

Probably give it a few more days first.

Looking at my statement, my AY flights over the past year have taken the following amounts of time to credit to QFF:

  • 5 days
  • 5 days
  • 4 days
  • 5 days
  • 5 days
  • 5 days
  • 6 days

  • 19 days

None of those flights required manual follow-up.

My last AY flights were in late Jan. AMS-HEL-CPH 26JAN. Posted 31JAN.

The only time I've had issues getting an AY flight posted was in 2012 or 13 when I had a flight operated by Flybe Nordic (now Nordic Regional Airlines) on (as I recall) HEL-OSL. Qantas tried to claim it wasn't a oneworld flight, when it was no different to any of the Alliance Airlines flights for QantasLink or Republic or Skywest flights for American Eagle (the flight had been sold on a DONE3 ticket, which only allows oneworld flights).

They have all posted today;

2 took 9 days, 1 took 8 days.
Some partner airlines batch process. It’s not uncommon to wait a week or two for CX if you just miss a batch run.

I've been waiting for over 2 weeks for 2 CX flights to credit.

That’s probably reasonable time to lodge a missing points claim?

I had some CX flights a couple of years ago that took 2wks (possibly more) and I was running down the days to the end of my status year and needed those SCs! Turned up just as I was pondering lodging a claim.

6 of 8 CX flights this year have posted 6 to 7 days later. Just arrived home this morning - let’s see how long they take. But I’m expecting 1 wk.

6 days for another pair of CX flights.

We've put together this article summarising the expected crediting times to QFF for Oneworld flights:

If you have any data points for airlines that are missing from that article (i.e. MH, WY or UL) please feel free to post them here.
