Maybe because the outward leg was with Jetstar, return leg with Qantas (on same booking) ?
Maybe? Or maybe the schedule change left the booking in a weird state?
For what it's worth, if you call up and manage to get the Hobart call center, in my experience they are usually happy to push your refund to the front of the queue if you're in a rush.

I cancelled in April 2022, points refunded in 2-3 weeks. Taxes ($900) only recently just got refunded 2 weeks ago - took multiple calls which never got anywhere. They will say allow 12 weeks, best thing to do is call very early in the morning when refund team is up and then have the agent deal with the refund team while you wait on the phone

Success at last! After my umpteenth phone call and staying on hold for 45 minutes, finally got my points and taxes refunded. Points arrived instantly in account, taxes no doubt to follow.

Now I think know how it must feel to win the Lotto. 😄

On the flip side, after almost two years QF billed me the points for a couple of upgrades BNE-SYD-BNE. Presumably they failed to debit the points at the time, but no way of knowing that far back without ringing the call centre. I’d rather chew a razor blade than ring the call centre.
