I want to try to see a classic J seat on this route on QF metal QF 27/QF28.

( I'm WP and don't want to request one as I have other old JASA/FASA tickets to hopefully book onto this route and need QF metal availability to show)

Have AFFers seen many of these come up or do they generally go to LAN aircraft, even 353 days out??

They do appear to be as rare as fowl molars although there is *one* J back on QF28 on Apr 25 ... so it's not like *never*!!

Maybe call and have a chat with the Premium Line (even if you're not going to request one is opened for you) just to get the low-down.

Regards,

BD

I also am currently on the look out for SYD-SCL flights and have been searching very regularly and with absolutely no luck at all - I am a NB FWIW. I am searching for March 2016 onwards and hope to get to SCL then make myself up towards Cuba. I did fly SYD-SCL in 2012, the J availability was close to zilch that I had to ask the Premium Line to open up a J award for me - I was WP then.

I've looked into it a fair bit and never seen availability.

2 x W seats available most days for the 2-month period I was looking, but nothing in J.
