Hello there,
First time thread starter, and a 2010 reader.
I was searching on the Tiger Airways site for flights from Hobart to Melbourne in November - mainly to obtain a possible Price Beat through Jet*
, however there are no flights on that route after October loaded into the website. I called up the Tiger number and spoke to someone (whole other topic as to the quality of their customer service staff) who could only state that there were no scheduled flights after October and to continue checking the website instead. I thought maybe it is possible that Tiger plan to withdraw from Hobart (both from Melbourne and Adelaide) and asked him about this. He had no idea whatsoever and couldn't refer me to anyone who would know.
So I guess my question is, how far in advance does Tiger or indeed any domestic airline post their schedules up for certain cities and/or would they announce any route suspensions or try and fly under the radar (pun definitely intended)? I note that Tiger has flights planned SYD-MEL at least until February so I'm a bit worried that if Hobart is suspended, where will I get cheap airfares from!!
