That’s why they get you to fill out preferences before your stay… or is it?

My only real preference I’ve filled out with Accor is “no sugar”. But as Gold they excitedly hand me a small milk chocolate bar (55% sugar) at check in

Intercontinental Sydney manager emailed me personally before my last stay with a list of what they could offer as free extras… all I requested was no sugar and no decaf coffee… half way thru my stay I came home one nite to a chocolate cake and 8 decaf coffee pods waiting for me 🤦‍♂️
