Back up north and was allocated a newly renovated room, located to the right side of the property from reception. Haven’t been over that side in years. Decent but small room, I do like the firmer bedding.
Welcome gift better than 5 star properties.
And a walk in shower for the win.

Sometimes you need to push back on the staff.
I think if you are spending upwards of $30k or even more you are entitled to push your case for a decent upgrade

Especially as my current Diamond status was achieved solely on spend, without the assistance of a Signature subscription.
