Was that Clover?
No, looks like Clover has just opened earlier this year in the space that OPL used to occupy.
Here's hoping comp breakfast is offered there

I’ve seen a few reviews and Clover actually sounds ok so looks like they now have the gig. I would imagine comp breakfasts are a thing. No, looks like Clover has just opened earlier this year in the space that OPL used to occupy.

I am told that Clover do the breakfasts. No in room service though and no Accor Plus benefits (discounts) if dining there of an evening. No, looks like Clover has just opened earlier this year in the space that OPL used to occupy.

Come back at 15h they said, when we arrived at lunch. This was a step beneath the advertised 14h checkin if we had booked at 25hhotels.com. At 15h, housekeeping wasn't answering reception's call and they eventually said oui 1/2 hour later. Re Welcome gift, not even a note. We were told the minibar was free first night, but while we waited everyone else was told that too. We did get a personal accueil from the housekeeper when we arrived, so that was something.Property: 25h Paris Nord

Honestly just because I'm a new platinum and am playing with my new toysOn nights or status points?
IMO the Swissotel EL is pretty hard to beat, unless you're considering booking a Fairmont Gold room.

Honestly just because I'm a new platinum and am playing with my new toysWhy not go somewhere with 2 free drinks and a welcome amenity every day ...
Plus since I'm solo I don't have to worry about annoying anyone else with my constant moving (I'm HLO and spending my days at a conference).
Yep, unless you pay for a Gold level room or have Diamond privileges I wouldn’t pick the Fairmont and would choose the SwissotelI wouldn't bother staying at the Fairmont unless you'll fork out for Gold room which brings EL access.
Pullman hill street again at $271
Fair enough. I really like the Swissotel then. My 2nd pick would be the Mondrian - it's very new, is in quite an interesting area, and has a great rooftop pool. The only downside is no EL and the newer build means slightly small rooms - although the furnishings are high quality. I stayed during the Mondrian's soft launch so I can't comment on how good the status recognition is now.

Uh oh... I apologise for what you might have seen
