Hi,

I am very very keen to get an early warning on those amazing sounding $11 Melbourne - London air tickets with the new Air Asia X when they come out. Would anyone know where to subscribe to get an early email warning on their release, or which site, other than this one of course, to monitor so that I dont miss out?

thanks a million

This site (aff) has got to be a priority due to its industry insider knowledge and network.

Can I suggest you also use the following tools.

Use the power of Google to update you each day on the changes in their data that relates to "Air Asia X". Google Alerts.

The nice people at Google will send you some big emails on Day 1 & 2 and then it settles down to only send you relevent new data. You can tweak it so that maybe you only get updates on ["Air Asia X" Melbourne]. Depends on how active that search term is.

Also consider a web tool like Create your own web agents -web macros- that automatically browse, extract and compile web content. . Consider you could set it to Air Asia X website and do an airfare search each day. Report back with the best fares.

Depending on your motivation level, definately do the Google method and if you like to leverage technology the latter.

Cheers

Albi

Thanks for this, it sounds like a very useful tool, not only to hunt for the tickets but also for my PhD.

I've missed this one, can I just ask WHAT $11 tickets Melb to London, haven't heard a thing about them. Also, AirAsia has just posted a thumping great loss so I'd be just a bit concerned about booking with them, particularly if it's several months out.
Having spent most of Saturday costing flights to the UK out of Brisbane for May next year I'm currently pretty disillusioned of internet specials. By the time you put in travel dates and stopovers the cost that comes back is always WAY over the headline rate to the extent that I'm wondering if those headline rates even exist.
