Not for me obviously but for my better half. She has never used the website and has a heap of points which I thought had been lost but will expire at the end of the week. I am looking to transfer them to my account but I can't see a way of doing that. There is no "Register Now" button that I can find. The only place I could find to register a PIN was if you were joining WFF for the first time.

Anyone?
Could be done by phone if desperate but in this day and age I avoid the phone at all costs. If you've dealt with Optus you'll know what I mean.
Thanks.

Do you mean to JOIN QFF or is she already a member but had QFF points that are in QFF that will expire soon (due to inactivity) and she forgot her password?

Regards
Daniel

She has been a member since 1997 when we took a big RTW trip but hasn't earned points since - always uses mine. The points from then are about to expire. She has never had a password so how does she get one?

I suggest calling QF. 131131.

Truly their call centre is pretty good.

Every one gets issues a PIN when they join. This was true in 1994, it was true in 2001 and I believe it to be true now. Qantas provide a facility where you may obtain a new temporary PIN.

Use this Forgotton Pin Link or click Forgotten your PIN? on the qantas login page/window.

Enter your better half's Frequent Flyer membership number and surname.

Select (•) Send a temporary PIN to my registered e-mail address

Click [Next]

-> An email with a new PIN will be sent to the last registered email address.

If this does not work, or there was no email ever registered, or your better half can longer access this email address then do the following instead:

Use the Forgotton Pin Link again.

Enter your better half's Frequent Flyer membership number and surname.

Select (•) Don't send to my e-mail address.

Click [Next]

You will then need to enter at least three pieces of information as instructed. This MUST include one of the first two options listed.
-Mother's Maiden Name
-Info (as listed) on one of the last five flights flown that earned or redeemed points.
-Date of Joining
-Date of Birth
-First line of mailing address

Thanks for this - problem was I couldn't even find the QFF number. Tried to call QFF but "office hours are Mon-Fri". Found the QFF number (not the card) late today and tried the method you outlined. It told me there was no PIN or email registered. Then it asked for one of the last 5 flights as mandatory information but as this was 1997(!) the details are hazy - there is no box for 'year' would you believe? Harare-Perth no longer exists as a QF anyway.
The other questions (redundant as I couldn't answer the first one) were "Date joined" -which I didn't have as the card is lost and it's not on the statement; DOB and street address.
So I emailed the QFF centre in hope and pleading to do the transfer...

Shows you should never leave things until the last minute.

Me back again!

QFF generously allowed me an extra 7 days to make the transfer and sent me the PIN so I did it straight away!!

Phew!

Thanks to QFF for not being bureaucratic about the whole thing and having some flexibility.

Thanks again to everyone here who offered advice.
