How do Hilton treat you as an Elite?

Very poor showing by Hiltons in the US :( $25 isn't even enough to get breakfast at most 4*+ places.

I agree $25 isn't enough, but it sounds like they gave that credit as a status bonus in addition to the Amex FHR booking channel perks (inc free breakfast for two)

OK, all you mockers! 😄😄😄
It was
$100 per stay
+ $50 per day Hilton (3 days)
+ $60 per day (3 days) breakfast credit (Amex Fine Hotels and resorts

We spent $380 all up - about $50 short - yes it hurts

The AMEX benefits are great. The pitiful thing is the diamond $25 credit for breakfast. Which is rubbish. The only thing for that price on the menu at our hotel in Vegas… which was only 3.5 star (it rates itself as 4.5!) was a fried egg on toast and drip coffee.

Not really a big benefit with the lounge access, as I already had Diamond. No further upgrades were available for the day; a conference was happening over the weekend. I was given a hint that a Diamond Reserve guest had checked in earlier, so the junior suite was probably given to them. Breakfast was available both in the lounge and The Pem (I think).

Being on St James Street, Westminster, along with other major attractions, is a walk away. A few steps away from the Tube as well. Knowledgeable concierge staff with recommendations tailored to what I wanted to see and do.

Located within the Orchard area compared to Conrad MBS, but did not detract from the overall experience of the stay. Significantly larger executive lounge (and gym) than Conrad St James, and staff within the lounge were constantly moving around to ensure guests were well taken care of, without being overbearing. Observed personal touches (of conversation) to regulars, one guest remarked how they had remembered them from 2 or so years back.
