How do Hilton treat you as an Elite?

Currently in bed typing this out. Too bad I'm only here for one night and just by myself with all this space and it's the only room type with a bath. Am I just lucky or the hotel treats the diamonds really well? Second time here and got a bottle of wine and a welcome back card that actually says it's my second stay.

The room is huge. 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a guest toilet. Carpet is a little shabby but the room is totally fine.

Keen to try the morning in the morning if I can get up in time. Too bad breakfast only starts from 7.

Sorry Hilton LQS, I'm really loving the very quiet room with no outside noise here at Next Hotel.

Went to the restaurant thinking that I was supposed to have breakfast there, but no i was redirected to the executive lounge on level 2.

It was a small spread was mostly continental - cold cuts, bread, whole fruits, three juices and some pastries. There were some hot items - scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, baked beans, bacon and grilled tomatoes and something else.

I think it's adequate for a light breakfast.

Excellent one night stay. Staff very friendly, hotel/room clean and well appointed. Bags were already in our room when we came back after text notification that our room was ready (we had arrived early at about noon).

Lounge is small but they enforce two sittings for evening drinks/canapes 5:00 to 6:30 and 6:30 to 8:00, you book which one you want, so not overcrowded. Plenty of drinks. A nice but somewhat limited spread of food, we had some excellent barramundi spring rolls with actual plump filling, not just spring roll skin like in Sydney Hilton, also some nice chicken liver pate and potato tarts, and other food. Full b/fast in the main restaurant, not sure if barista tax.

So the breakfast at the Motley Hotel Richmond VIC has been devalued since my last stay, down from $25 to $20 credit.

And going cheap in the name of being green - no more bottled water. But there wasn't even a sign in the room. I only found out when I went downstairs to enquire about the water.

And what else is missing? I just noticed there's no welcome bag of lollies this time.

The hotel is certainly trying to save a coin here and there.

Lastly, don't pick room 601. You can hear the sound of gushing water through the wall after someone flushed

Unfortunately named hotel 😂
Reminds me of Fawlty Towers

Hello Pele,
I am going to stay at the Conrad Manila for 2 night in late January 2026.
How is the traffic going to MNL airport from the hotel ?
(I have a flight to Cebu at 140pm on a Wednesday)
I plan to leave at least 4 hours before the flight.
PS : By the way, congrats on the great upgrade!
When i landed at MNL i was at terminal 3. It was a rainy Monday night at at 1930 it took 33 minutes to go the 11km to the Conrad and cost PHP601. The next morning i went from the Conrad to Terminal 1 at 0730 and it took 14 minutes to go the 5km and cost PHP308.

Im far from the expert on MNL traffic and by all accounts it is awful but if you are flying into or out of Terminal 1 you will make it in quick time as that is on the closest perimeter to the Conrad. Terminal 3 is further but with four hours you should have no troubles.
