I've got a sub $200 rate booked for an upcoming stay at HOTP.
NOR1 is offering the relaxation suite for $99 ... so a total of nearly $300/night.

Is it worth this price?
Things to consider are in my decision are
- I'm Gold, so don't have guaranteed lounge access, and this provides it
- I need to have some meetings where we'll be using a laptop (preferably on a big screen with my HDMI cable). If the TV is good, it would save me booking/organising something else.

Thanks for your input.

That's only a decision you can make but I would say that your odds of lounge access and an upgrade are pretty good at this property.

Re the TV I am not sure what you mean.

Currently in Rm #913 and the wireless internet is awful but good through the cable. TV reception is also poor.

If it's a cheap rate, I'd assume it'd be relatively quiet at the Hotel and therefore chances of upgrade are good. FWIW, I have been upgraded to a relaxation suite every single time I've stayed at this property - I'm a Diamond though. Personally, I don't think I'd pay to have the room itself, it's nice, but nothing like the HSW suites. I guess you need to decide whether guaranteed lounge access is worth a hundred bucks. I don't think it is.

Especially as you will almost certainly get it at this property.

My laptop has HDMI ... so rather than going out, I can use the Television (TV) with HDMI to work on a presentation with others.
I expect if I got an upgrade, it would only be to an Exec room... unless you think otherwise (I have no idea what room 913 is like)
