Well I fly to HKG on Saturday and have just been advised that my points upgrade from PE to J on the SYD-HKG flight has come through.

Here's hoping the return flight also gets a visit from the upgrade fairy. :D
We just miss you in the lounge too, you're a few hours ahead of us (though we arent going to HKG).

Anyone flying back to SYD on QF128 and is not purchasing duty free and would like to help out would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry, I am unable to help out as I am under strict instructions from my daughter to add to the stock for her wedding reception later this year... :):):)

On QF118 a few hours after you & in SYD until 4pm flight. If that helps...
Thanks but don't think enough time. In T3 until 9:00 am flight to BNE which is probably around the time QF118 is due to land.

I am officially on my way to the lounge crawl. Although I just normally go to one lounge and stay put I thought I may get into the spirit of the occasion.

First Leg ADL-SYD
VA pub reasonably quite but filling up with the SQ PAX starting to arrive

ADL Rex Lounge (PP) whole lounge to myself
IMG-2228.JPG
SYD VA pub, may as well grab a coffee

Through customs, first stop AMEX.
IMG-2233.JPG
Standing room only off to NZ, the NZ lounge quite

Now at SQ J, I like this lounge and tend to fly out of SYD over MEL (when possible)
IMG-2245.JPG
At the final lounge SQ F staying here until flight time

You did much better than me on my trip here. I only visited the under renovation MEL J lounge and the SYD F lounge.

Will visit a few of the HKG lounges on Monday when I head over to Bangkok for a few days.

So in SIN, we arrived early 1 hour to visit the T2 lounges before they shut at 10pm

First off some PP lounge DNATA that I have not been to before on the way to SQ lounges

Now at SQ G was not there long and wandering around taking these snaps when the lounge police informed be I was in the wrong area and directed me to the F lounge. Quick stop and SQ J then F, T2 is done. cough just realised when I went to up load pics I some how switched the phone to video mode only limited coughpy pics. May have to come back and upload tomorrow.

As a side note when I was in the *G lounge the lovely lounge lady came up to me and said or words to this effect "I don't really need to be in this lounge as I was mainly for Y PAX and pointed me back towards the F lounge.
On the way out I forgot about the SATA lounge, quick stop there then T 2 is done

SIN T1 was always going to be slim pickings, especially flying SQ

TG - Shut but this was not unexpected due to my arrival time.

Next back to T3

T3 was always going to have the most variety. I will do T1 over a couple of posts as I can only include 10 pics per post and will start with the marginals

@Matt_01, you do realise you have to have a drink in a lounge for it to count? ;)

At most of them I had a small something, either food, wine or water, not much much else. I had already spent a couple of hours in the SYD F lounge, 8 hours swallowing vintage Krug then the possibility of 5 hours swallowing Dom at TPR. The SIN T2 T1 adventures was a bit a self enforced slow down. Anyhow how can one ever consider swallowing other french or imitation fizz after Krug.

It is also why this is getting posted today rather than last night. I tried but the fingers, eyes and what was being written was not that coherent. Needless to say the flight to ICN was 1 Krug followed by straight to sleep.:p

Final one in SIN - The Private Room. I have only been there one other time and as I was leaving on SQ8 by the time I had to board the lounge was almost empty. I tried to pay attention to how many were there in the wee hours of the morning, I think it was around 6 but not sure. Given my early antics I had asked the staff to come and wake me should I finally (involuntary) call it quits and nod off.

And I'm at the HIX on Soi 11 so we're fairly close. I.e. all on the same BTS line.

I'm in.

Noting Jess's time restrictions why not meet at the DT and go from there?
I land at 1620 should be 'in residence' well before 1800.
