I had a stay on 7 Jan and I'm still on points & fixed miles with QF (forgot to change).
Will I get any miles for this stay?

I note that under "My Account", I have been automatically rolled over to "Points and Variable miles". So you most likely will earn the new enhanced number of QF FFP for your stay if the same has occurred to you.

edit: I notice the HH website has not been updated with the new earn rates for the old fixed miles partners yet.

I just checked my account and it is still under points & fixed miles.
I didn't get any miles for my last stay (no more QN double dip) :(

I'm like Pleb Status, my auto rolled into points+variable miles.

Bit of a trap for those who don't auto roll! I'd be contacting HH and asking them to credit at least the variable miles and perhaps in the interim, change your miles partner to one that show a variable miles option.

Just called the diamond desk to ask why I didn't get any miles for my last stay. I was told that there is an IT problem ATM and they are working on fixing it. When I asked if I should change my profile from points & fixed miles to points & variable miles I was told there is no need to do that. Very strange...
I have 2 more stays coming next week and not sure what to do.

Received a call back this morning from the diamond desk saying that Qantas is not participating in the program anymore so I should choose another airline for points & variable miles or just go for points & points (50% more base points).

Just remember, it is not 50% more base points, but a 50% "bonus" on base points more than anything. The distinction is required because these bonus/double dip points do not count towards requal, nor to promotion earn calculations.

The Diamond desk doesn't seem to agree with the email that QANTAS themselves sent in December.

It's all very confusing. Too much conflicting information comes out of HHonors lately.

My 3rd last agent told me that the Conrad Maldives was non earning for a promotion. The next one told me my length of stay was too short. The third one fixed everything and gave me points for everything. 2/3 ain't bad, right? And to be honest, agent 3 shouldn't have given me as many points as she did

Just ignore the agents if what they say sounds a bit odd.

Did anyone get any QF miles for their stay since HH changed the terms?
I got 0 miles for my last stay and I don't know if what the last agent told me (that QF is not a partner with HH anymore) is true or not.

Interesting.... Last stay at Brisbane Hilton since the changes posted to QF account with 211 points; which looking at the emailed bill, is 1 point per $ for room and F&B, but not the parking charges.

HH have finally updated their website to show QF as 1 QF FF per US dollar and VA as 2 velocity points per US dollar.

Found this blog post. I don't know if any of you got official communications yet, and I'm hoping the blogger is telling the truth so as not to alarm you (although another side says, "I hope the blogger is wrong because this will disappoint the collective"...)

Virgin Atlantic To Hilton Points Transfer Ratio Being Devalued - One Mile at a Time - One Mile at a Time

VS to HH transfer ratio changed from 1:2 to 2:3

Another thread has the formal comms, a week to get those requests in.
