Hidden "sub levels" in P1

Hi All,
Was wondering if anyone has any thoughts if hidden sub levels actually exist in the WP1 program?

i have been P1 since day one, where I limped over the line and only had 3800 SC, for year 2 I qualified with around 4500 SC and whilst the service had been great up until that point, I have noticed that the program seems to be "enhanced" this year and I am receiving greater "love" because my SC this year will likely finish around the 6500 SC mark.

So am I imaging this hidden level or are QF simply making a great program even better as time goes on?

The higher the rate of your SC earn, especially with those earned on QF flights, the better your rating is likely to be.

Honestly! it's not a secret society or something. It's just a tier in an airline loyalty program, it's all computerised. What sub levels? WP1.1 WP1.2 WP1.3 or Wanker 1, Complete Wanker, Total Wanker, Grand Master Wanker?

Yes and I think we all agree cabin crew don't get PCV (or whatever they call it internally) visibility on board.

If you check the iPad manifest the CSM carries, the highest ranking a pax can get onboard so to speak is VIP, then CL, then P1.....

Right and I think you will find that all federal MP's are annotated as VIP's

There's likely more to the OP's mentioned "love" than what happens once seated.

Actually I'm not so sure.

I know categorically they get offered CL but I have been on flights with them and the VIP has been marked as 0....

Can you be more specific about the greater "love" you are receiving?

If it's more attention from the FAs it can be simply because you fly a lot and they all know you by now.

I fly on the same routes and choose (almost) the same seat so as time goes by, more and more FAs recognise me and are more friendly (offering wine from J etc.).

I wouldn't call it a sub level but would lean to PCV as serfty mentions. And I'm sure it's all computerised too.

I thik you are correct on this. I was on the same flight with a new federal pollie to Canberra last week and saw the manifest during meal service. It listed the pollie as HON Joe Bloggs CL, me as Mr Meggsy Plat. Could also see other names with Plat 1 along side.

I dont think there are levels within levels, but PCV has to play a role somehow.

I have seen the Ipad the CSM uses & on 1A where i was sitting had a ! & VIP on it. So there are some WP1's that do get that VIP tagged onto them. I dont know if it happens everytime, or that it was cause I was sitting in J at the time.

It would appear there are levels within levels.

Nothing too drastic but I have noticed it ever since I made Platinum + Partner Gold earlier this year. More than likely related to Perceived Customer Value than anything else.

It would be silly to think there wasn't sub categories within categories within categories.

The more qff knows about you, your habits and life the better it can service your individual needs, however it would appear its a retroactive system that focuses on short tern potential. This is why you see people who gain an internal tier for the first time treated to extra benefits.

Sure this has its faults that could be fixed to massively profitability further, but its hugely successful in its current form so why change a winning formula?
