Have spent an enthralling afternoon wading through this site, trying to understand acronyms, fare class codes etc...Very enlightening!
I don't travel an awful lot, but when I do, always fly QANTAS.
This may not be the place, I'm new to forum websites, but am lucky enough to be traveling to London next Thursday 27th Jan (QF031). I have hedged my bets & applied for an upgrade to both premium & business using points, not sure how lucky I'll be?
Does anyone know if I apply/pay for an exit row & manage to then get upgraded, would I get a refund?
Not sure what to do, being my first time to London. Any advice would be appreciated.
Sorry if I've posted in the wrong area!:)

Apparently its Nuthin Bronze!

Welcome to AFF!

Looking at the loadings:

Code:
[URL="javascript:void(0)"]F5[/URL] [URL="javascript:void(0)"]A5[/URL] [URL="javascript:void(0)"]J9[/URL] [URL="javascript:void(0)"]C1[/URL] [URL="javascript:void(0)"]D0[/URL] [URL="javascript:void(0)"]I0[/URL] [URL="javascript:void(0)"]W0[/URL] [URL="javascript:void(0)"]R0[/URL] [URL="javascript:void(0)"]T0[/URL] [URL="javascript:void(0)"]Y9[/URL] [URL="javascript:void(0)"]B9[/URL] [URL="javascript:void(0)"]H9[/URL] [URL="javascript:void(0)"]K9[/URL] [URL="javascript:void(0)"]M9[/URL] [URL="javascript:void(0)"]L9[/URL] [URL="javascript:void(0)"]S9[/URL] [URL="javascript:void(0)"]G0[/URL] [URL="javascript:void(0)"]E0[/URL]

shows there isn't much, nothing in Y+ and J reasonably full. You might be lucky though. Being Bronze doesn't help..

Thanks so much, not sure what all the codes mean but assume it's availability in certain section. I take it there's not a lot? Here's hoping!

Hi matty_boy, welcome to AFF. :D

To answer your question, if you pay for an exit row seat then subsequently get upgraded you are entitled to a refund.
