I am looking at booking BA16/12 to LHR in September. What prey tell would be my chances of new CW with the B777 and A380 combo?
Slim at this stage I think.
The A380’s aren’t starting to be retrofitted until 2022 so that rules out BA12.
Apparently about 1/3 of the 777-300’s will have the CW by the end of this year so there is a small chance BA16 could have it but more than likely 2021 will be when we see it

Thanks for that. I didn't realise the A380s won't be done for a couple of years.

Pretty much zero I’m sad to say. 380s are the last birds to get refitted (I suspect there is internal debate at BA whether to retire them early like Air France and they are going to observe fuel prices and demand post brexit (!) over the next couple of years) and they are doing 777-200s before 300s.

Having said that, the 300s are being reconfigured into a super hi J config to replace the hi J 747s used to New York. I suspect when that happens they’ll swap birds on the Sydney run. I wonder how first demand is to Oz as I wouldn’t be surprised if 350-1000 makes an appearance.
