Can anyone help by suggesting where I can find cheap flights, Adelaide - Gold Coast, in November?

Best I can find is approx $360 (return) with Virgin Aus.

Thanks!

I recommend you sign up with www.getflight.com.au, enter in the locations you need and change your notifications to instant.
You will get an email within a few minutes of the tix going on sale - it can even loads the booking page with the dates you want if you so choose.
Cheers

You considered flying into Brisbane instead? It may be a cheaper option.

Failing that sign up to the various airlines newsletters, most of them release sale fares from time to time, so you never know you may get lucky. I know I have in the past, I decided to fly CBR-BNE vv but held off booking for a week, in that time a sale fare was released which dropped the price by a third.

ADL-BNE is one of the current happy hour specials:

Also remember the second half of November is schoolies (although maybe thats the reason for your trip) and many flights into OOL are booked pretty solid. I think Brisbane is your best bet at this time, certainly with the happy hour prices today as mentioned by markis10.:)

Just found out that Bris won't work... One of the travelers is pregnant, & they have to head South of Coolangatta, not north - not keen on the extra drive time...

Hope something comes up for Gold Coast...

JQ and DJ offer direct flight ADL/OOL with 1 flight each per day.

I usually keep my eye out for specials ex ADL. Unfortunately, this route rarely features specials for either carriers (and flights with formal connections are usually cheaper than the direct flight for DJ which is operated by an E190 which means it has terrible yield management).

If you really are after cheaper flights, BNE is probably the best option.

$360 return on the ADL-OOL route is actually a fairly reasonable fare and I'd suggest the longer you wait the more you'll end up paying.

As has been noted there's only 1 service from both JQ and DJ and I cant recall the last time I ever saw this route featured on DJ's Happy Hour fares, and other specials are few and far between especially in peak periods like Schoolies, School Holidays etc.

If it was me (and make your own mind up as I take no responsibility for the airline subsequently proving me wrong) and I couldnt use BNE as an option I'd be booking it now rather than waiting.
