To go to this lunch is quite a journey.
MEL - DRW for Oz Fest (4 nights)
DRW - BNE (3 nights) with a quick trip to Amity Point on Nth Stradbroke Island.
BNE - NAN (2 nights)
Pacific Harbour Fiji for 3 weeks timeshare holiday at Pacific Harbour
NAN - MEL (1 night)
MEL - HBA (2 nights)

Two, hubby is in the for swim.
We have a "family" holiday first, from 11-16 Hobart, 16-19 Cradle mtn, 19-21 Swansea, back in Hobart on 21st ready for swim on 22nd, then drive up to Davonport to catch ferry that night.
Above all based on getting tix for the swim. 19-22 will change completely if we don't get tix.

Going to Tasmania for lunch sounds like a great idea, it can't be any more insane going to Korea and Japan on a mileage run.
I will likely have a BNE-MEL ticket that will need to rebook and if I am a few SCs short of requalifying Qantas platinum I will need to take the flight.
