medhead, chill out. Nobody said in any seriousness that they would use medication, prescribed, over the counter or illicit for any inappropriate purposes. Nor is there anything wrong in appropriate, medically approved use of a legal drug for intended purposes and appropriate, specially if helps get you through the day.

And we don't get "stinking, drunk miner" on red-eyes, but feel free to enjoy their aroma on yours.

Considering WP1 hasn't even been launched yet, it pretty much renders the question moot.
 
I fully expect some P1s to be there given they had the first 3 at the announcement of P1.

I thought the lunch was a big thing for lots of interested parties rather than just an AFF lunch. I thought the lunch was the formal announcement with Alan Joyce up the front doing a speech. Having re-read the first post I am now not as sure...

It could just be an AFF lunch which might improve the food offering as it might not then be a catered lunch and might be a la carte (I have lots of corporate lunches so I had assumed that the lunch was one of those). If it is just for a smaller number this might be time to start reviewing the Rockpool wine list much touted in the recent QF magazine ;)

I think you will find the announcement will take place before the lunch at a separate press event, the lack of NDA requirements and leaks elsewhere suggest this to be the case. Probably an event that showcases the refitted 747 cabin at the same time!
