Has QF had a complete fall out with CX?

Just my two cents... Airlines start and stop code sharing with whoever they like, within or outside of alliances.. In this case I think the whole Jetstar HK situation and the fact that CX has partnered with NZ might be the factors.

I would've (note for the young ones, that's short for would have, not would of) given you a like but for Roos comment!

Apologies: the "Roos" should really have been singular - the only interest I have in the NM variety is the recent Nick Dal arrival.

Regards,

BD

I still get CX options on the QF website so I don't believe the thrust of the thread.

CX is a foundation of the OW Alliance.

Tried a dummy booking to PEK, and there were numerous options, including CX/KA, MU codeshares, and then even CA and HX as connecting flights.

Thank you for that. That error irks me no end. Every time I hear would of, I just want to scream out WOULD HAVE, NOT WOULD OF!!!!

With daily flights Cairns to/from HKG (some via BNE) its very hard to snag a seat on CX via QFF probably because they are near full, you see Q in their wisdom gave up CNS/HKG years ago and CX have been laughing ever since.

IMHO,

I think with QF pushing Jetstar more into Asia it is hurting CX's budget carrier.

It has been mentioned here but the relationship is frosty anyway for a long time.

Never done that flight but wouldn't have guessed the loads would be nearly full.

For me it is not the codeshares so much.

If I am booking flights on QF website to SIN/BKK/HKG etc then I do not want to see every single international flight offered on JQ, EK or MU.
