Has anyone been able to permanently request not being allocated an exit row seat?

Because I suffer from really bad industrial deafness (can't properly hear someone talking to me when there is a lot of background noise or in a crowded place where people are all talking such as a pub) I decline exit row seats when the system allocates them to me (as I wouldn't be able to hear crew instructions in an emergency).

The problem that I have now is that as a WP on the Q400 flights to and from NW Tassie I seem to always get allocated an emergency row seat in either row 1 or 2, and then when I opt out of that when I do online check-in it then allocates me a seat way down the back of the plane.

Has anyone been able to get "don't allocate to an emergency row seat" added to their profile at Qantas?

I'm guessing you have already tried but have you emailed QF directly.
As you said have said you will be moved anyway so I'm sure there has to be something they can do on their systems
