Just got told from a barman in the SYD T3, looks like HP is getting the axe.

I have to admit, after a long stint off HP, it really is a very nice drop. Refreshing beer. Leaves most Aussie beers in the dust!

It could be Cairns Draught or FNQ Lager. :p

Besides my taste buds are location dependent. xx_X on the hill, fine bubbles in more refined environments. Of course, I have seen some nice reds cracked open in the Ballymore car park.

Hahn Premium is getting the chop
Hahn Premium Light is staying

I have to admit, after not drinking HP for a few years (not many places sell it now days), l enjoyed it.
Not a bad drop and it leaves some of the other Aussie beers for dust. Everyone has their own taste l guess.

I have not consumed it for some years. I was angered when they changed the bottle size to 330 ml and posted about my displeasure at the time in HP downgrade - FlyerTalk Forums over at FT. However, I soon tired of drinking crownies and now consume Heineken in the QP (even though it too is in 330 ml bottles) and I buy Boags Premium for other times. Wish Boags Premium was available in the QP.

If not many places sell HP these days I wonder if their sales started to head South as a result of the size change?

I don't mind Crown Larger in the lounge but as I will only have 1 or 2 I normally have a scotch and dry

Hahn Premium Light is an OK beer. I never understood the fascination with Hahn Premium though. Way overrated.

That being said though it is not good to lose choice.
