any updates on the TRS?
We bought 2 items with a total of $1532.00. 1 purchase of $879 and the other $653.
If we make a claim on the way out of oz, as they are under 1800 for both of us, do we need to declare on the way back 7 days later?
No, unless you buy duty free alcohol/perfume etc on the way back. You are generally allowed 20% depreciation on the way back.

I don't really understand your comment about coming back home mate.
We have never been OS yet. Won't be able to say that after Saturday lol Unless you call Kangaroo Island OS hahaha

I think what was being alluded to is that the rules regarding combined limits on your return to Australia are on the TRS site. I believe you are correct that you can combine the limits for each passenger in this case, so 900+900 = 1800 and you are under that limit.

Likewise, not sure I understand your comment . If you go OS, at some point you come back home. You posed the question 'do we need to declare on the way back 7 days later'. I suggested that information is also on the TRS site. No hahaha.
