I'm pretty sure mine is the same LH 747 three times, just off the end of 07L at FRA. You can see the shadows as well.
Very interesting. I love going through airport maps as well.
I always grab them at airport and study them, which makes me look like I'm a lot tourist, but I don't really care.
Flying to four airports I've never been to in the next five weeks – exciting!
New airports are fun

Indeed. It's come to the point where I plan my trips to take me to airports I haven't been to yet. That's why I've been checking Google and other maps. My friends think I'm a dork, but what do they know.
Eight days and counting (PER–DXB–LHR–ZAG–LIS–ZAG–VIE–LHR–DXB–PER).
Lots of my friends think I'm a dork. Thankfully the gf only thinks I'm a little bit of a dork

O. R. Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg (pictured) is one of the darkest images in O'Neill's collection. It is also the only one to show clouds above the runways. The airport is one of the few in the world that has non-stop flights to six inhabited continents, others include Dubai International Airport, Abu Dhabi International Airport and Doha International Airport

Nice article, and interesting little bit of info at the bottom of the linked item:
Awwww. The preferred term is goose
Oh, okay. I'm not a native speaker so I didn't know about that one. Good to know.
I think I still prefer dork.
Dork is good, I just prefer to refer to TomVexille as a goose
