Google leaps into the travel market

I was under the impression Microsoft had already bought a travel-services provider out and integrated them into Bing, so I’m not sure what they’re complaining for, as Google is clearly just countering that move. Then again, I’m not surprised Microsoft is complaining, but I don’t feel they have a right to.

As for what it’ll do, I can’t see an issue with having flight information closer than ever to my fingertips.

What I REALLY want is to be able to click a button on ITASOFTWARE that lets me book flights I find there. I don't care who I end up buying it through (as long as they accept Australian Credit Cards!), but that functionality would be great.

Perhaps Google will take that step (and of course make money out of it!).
