Did I mention that I'm on my 7 week holiday in Europe the week after it begins. So much walking to do :D:D:cool:

Registrations are open!

Hi everyone.

Register your spot now on the Australian Frequent Flyer Global Corporate Challenge 2011 Team!

I've organised a Google Form to collect your registration information so that we can start making teams to register for the GCC.

After talking with Lauren from the GCC, she said that the earlier we can register and pay for teams, the better chance we can get on the "first dispatch list", which means we will get the maximum amount of time to have packs dispatched and then further to distribute them to team members.

Please use the following link to register yourself as a GCC participant:

Sorry for those who cannot use Google Forms at work - please try at home (I'm looking at serfty here :-|)

The first page of the form basically outlines the rules and some basic questions. I know it's long, so feel free to scroll to the bottom of the page and answer the commitment question to get to the registration page. The info is primarily for the benefit of those participating for the first time, to confirm that you are aware of the rules, and to make sure you understand what you are committing yourself (and $99) to.

You need to fill out one form per participant; this includes +1s etc. If you make a mistake, simply re-submit the form.

The Comments / Remarks section of the form can be used for any other things I should know about your participating. For example, about dispatching packs, or if you would strongly prefer to be in the same team as another participant.

Once the registrations start rolling in, I'll start using this thread to communicate and collate who is participating, and getting teams organised etc.

Looking forward to your registrations of interest!

Did I mention I'm free to carry your bags??? :D:D:mrgreen::mrgreen:
Now if you had said being the nanny, I'd have considered it :D - I'm the male carrying the bags

Don't go there Lindsay. I promise she is high maintenance and expensive :!:
You would have good first hand knowledge ;). You didn't think I wanted a second one ...or have me a a son-in-law

But she can make a mean cake!
I am looking forward to buying and eating one of her cakes after the GCC

Hi everyone.

So far the registration process has yielded 13 participants. Looks like we may easily make 3 teams this year - so who else wants in? Come on, you know you want to....

We've got a nice mod-heavy line-up this year. I wonder if we can coerce the other two mods to join in (although one might have trouble with the sign-up form...) Then we could have mods v members, although the mods will need one more person to complete a team of 7 (there are 5 mods + 1 super mod, which leaves 1 spot left...)

I have already agreed to participate :D:D

And the sign-ups have dried up...

Come on, any one else want to step up to it?

Hope your expense managers look upon your case with favourable consideration :) (gee, that sounds like a line out of a business letter, doesn't it?)

I should probably make it known that the sooner we finalise teams, the better chance we will have at getting the first deliveries of starter packs. If we can target by the end of April, that would be excellent.

The goal right now looks like 3 teams. This will require another 6-8 participants.

Go to the sign-up form for more information (the first page has it all); it's $99 per participant to enter and money paid goes to financing research into heart disease, etc.

We're short for a 3rd team! Anyone else to step up?

We're still sitting at only 15 participants (2 teams + 1 "reserve"); we need another 6 to make a third team.

Anyone feel like stepping up this year?
