Had a big day yesterday - ended up staying at home to write up a paper and proposal in relative peace and quiet. Then went out for a big walk and jog later.

End of day result: 24900 steps.
Not as good as that for me, 10K less

The first 2 days of next week will be higher than average, as I have meetings to attend in City, so will be walking. South Brisbane meeting on Wed morning, so have to decide how to get there (train perhaps, so will involve more walking than usual).

We'd have to be breathing pretty hard for them to hear us 1000 steps away

I was badly gasping for oxygen after a good deal of jogging yesterday. Just saying it might be possible...

Went for a run in the Bridge to Brisbane fun run, the actual run was only 11,000 steps started in the joggers section and everyone was going so fast was hard to keep up, my time was almost 20 minutes better than last year, this year took me just over 66 minutes will try to train more and get under 60 for next year.

1hr 6min is a fantastic time IMO - well done Bundy Bear

I ended up walking the entire course. I might have been able to pace up a bit more (I could tell because once I finished the course even though I had been talking the whole time I was not a bit tired), but I decided to take social over speed, as I met JohnSydney2000 also walking the 10km course just as I left the Gateway Bridge; we ended up conversing the whole way to the finish line.

Learning to swerve, skim past and slalom is essential if you're not in the front elite runners pack... :-|

Like Bundy Bear, also added a decent number of steps with a bit more to top it off.

Glad to see members of our team putting in the hard yards, as I had a quiet weekend.

Had a couple of quiet days after catching the virus the rest of my family had earlier this week. Haven't hit 10K :-(

OK... Last day in Bangkok.... I will make it my biggest day! I am up to date now. Will add today's steps on my arrival to MEL.

Just when I thought I was over the virus, I'm back in bed today so my numbers are down again right at the crunch time of the competition. So much for Fathers Day, my kids are up with their grandfather.

Pity that I couldn't see my parents today - they don't want what I have. My mothers' birthday as well as Fathers Day.

Notice that there are only 2 of us up-to-date with our numbers. C'mon guys, log them in :D

Does anyone have any good ideas how to knock up an active number of steps when it is raining outside?

Short of, of course, donning a raincoat and getting out there.... or running n times up and down the stairs...

Find a local shopping center that has a long or circular layout, do some window shopping. :)

Use a treadmill :!:

Flashware, I was hoping that with all that walking between Terminals and then in Munich, that you'd be making up for my poor totals.

Needless to say, I'm already past my total for yesterday. Amazing what a morning walk does for your step count.

Notice that we are edging closer to Team OneAlliance (but I'm sure we both have missing step entry - well I know we do):

2 days to go :D

Yep, only two days to go.

Had a big day of Golf yesterday - got some steps in.

Team One Alliance is up to 9,775,463 steps with 21 missing entries.

With the 14 team entries to go a daily average of 6½K per day would crack the 10,000,000 steps.

My steps are now entered.

The average required now for the 10,000,000 total is 5,285 per entry. ;)
