I remember pre-merger there was a link for you to gift SPG points which in turn allows you to transfer them to Marriott. Does anyone know if there’s still a link for you to do that with Marriott Rewards?

I've called them before and they are quite responsive. Try this AU ph number 1-800-450-010.

Did they say if there is a cost to gift points BTW?

Ouch that’s not good. Really didn’t like have to call to transfer points. Thanks.

Nah haven’t called them yet. Will let you know when I do. I remember seeing somewhere that there is a fee attached now but can’t confirm if it is.

I just called them to maybe find a way to get the 8,800 points without buying, but apparently not.

I had a few other questions, and asked about a fee to share miles. He said there is no charge if you phone in to do it with both member numbers.
On line, apparenrly there is a charge.
