Hi, I am GHA titanium level. Just wondering if any members have been able to get a status match with other hotel chains from being a GHA titanium member ?

I recently became titanium but have not been successful in getting any other major chain to credit a status match. GHA seems to be out on their own, possibly because of how ‘easy’ they perceive it is to earn titanium after 1 night stays at 3+ brands in a year.

You could try Radisson via Club Avolta you might get top tier VIP if the promo is still running. I got it in March or so. I think it expires 31/12/25 Live: Radisson VIP match from Club Avolta | Verylvke

They tried to sell me a titanium renewal - spend $US1000 and get D$ 1000 and titanium status. Thanks, but no (I've got mattress runs at two other brands planned as I'll probably head to Spain next year).

I got the offer today of retaining Platinum for $500US and getting D$500 and I'm considering it because it will be the only hotel program that I will have status with in 2026 and I am planning on quite a bit of travel

Anyone have any opinions

Given that you only need three brands for titanium (or two for platinum), I'd price out mattress runs. My trip to Oaks in South Yarra will be $180 and the Parkroyal at MEL was $280 (including breakfast).

Yeah, the last time I did one was in Bangkok and Vietnam and the 3 stays cost only a couple of hundred bucks and upgraded to Titanium.
Got some good use out of it and might do another one next year

I’m not sure. I think if I maintain Platinum it’s not that hard to get to titanium.
