Hi, I am GHA titanium level. Just wondering if any members have been able to get a status match with other hotel chains from being a GHA titanium member ?

I have the NAB MyCard Premier mastercard. Where does that fit in the list on the mastercard site?

If it doesn't match to GHA titanium tier, I'd be better off matching via the statusmatch.com link using my VA WP wouldn't I? There's D$50 or D$75 there. Dunno if that's meaningful or not but the free brekky and double room upgrade seem decent for Titanium tier:

It's a Citi Premier still. ;)

It'll get Platinum IME. I paid for the status match to Titanium last year based on Accor Platinum as I was getting into Helsinki early and wanted early check-in.

Yep, alas 28° MC only equates to GHA Gold, which is only a step up from two stays but a start from nothing. Doesn’t two stays at two different brands beat that?
Yes, Gold is pretty much worthless and can be obtained with just 2 stays at any property.
Platinum isn’t much chop either TBH and you can get that with just 2 stays at different brands.
Titanium is probably the only tier worth it and you can get that with stays at 3 different brands.
The first time I got Titanium I just did a mini mattress run whilst in Asia and cost a few hundred dollars only

The question is whether the bump from Silver to Gold somehow shortens the steps to Platinum and the Titanium? Probably not?

I did the paid status match (from QF Plat) to Titanium - didn't realise that I probably could have matched for free from my Mastercard which I never use, oops.

But for the US$150 outlay (of which you get $75 back in very easy to use credit), I've received great value for money with two excellent upgrades which would have cost a lot more to obtain otherwise. I also had an incredible upgrade while Plat 3 years ago at the Capella Hanoi.

If you're staying at the better properties in this chain, GHA elite status can unlock a lot more value. It's oddly out of sync with how cheaply you can obtain the status, but the participating properties take it seriously and the benefits stack up pretty well against much larger and more complicated programs. I particularly like how easy it is to spend Discovery dollars from previous stays to lower your bill at check out - much easier than finding non-existent award night space on Bonvoy.
